I personnally think that cars like yours should be featured. It shows that a well looked after classic car can still cut it as a daily drive in the modern world.

Your not exactly lacking in height, you have a wife and a child yet you manage to easily live with a sierra and not follow the masses and feel the need to get a 'people van'.

It's a clean classic car and I for one love it:thumbs:

:iagree:I know ive said it before, But i love this car because it makes me smile. Not because it has a 1000bhp or a snorting V8 lump but because its a genuine clean almost timewarp example of a car that brings back happy memories for me. Now isn`t that part of what defines a classic car?

For me, it's a car that needs to be viewed sentimentally.
By modern terms, it's slow, noisy, badly insulated, poorly heated and not good on fuel.
But, it's still able to do the "daily driver" job, and keep up with the demands of me and working in it and on it, so it can't be that bad.
I reckon by May, when I would have had it 2 years, I'll have done more than half its total mileage, so it's becoming part of the family.
Thanks for the kind words gents.

I've only had two vaguely interested people mate, I can't see it going anywhere anytime soon.

I got more than I paid for it, and although I know it was one of a kind, it did nt have enough power or economy to make sense. If it had been either quicker or better on juice, the speed to MPG ratio would have made sense, but as it was, it needed loads of money lobbed at it to achieve what I wanted. (Either a Zetec conversion or similar and that would be a grand ish)
I've sold out and gone European FWD, once I've got some piccies I'll update, but I'm enjoying less interior noise, a modern heater and good build quality (My old age has caught up with me)
