My turn.

Had a bit of a random idea during the week... about how cool it would look seeing the exhaust manifold and turbo glowing in the dark under the bonnet while being ragged round. So I charged up the little camera, bolted it to a plate under the Evo's bonnet, and crossed my fingers.

Wasn't as dark under there as I thought it would be, but here's a small piece of footage for those who haven't seen it on Facebook (starting as Gary entered the start/finish straight and ending as he passed the bridge)-

Nice thinking Danny it does show how hot it gets under there. It's a wonder the camera didn't melt.

Zircotec coating FTW!

Camera only cost a few quid, so I wasn't worried too much about finding a lump of molten plastic when we opened the bonnet.
