Cheers for all the well dones guys, appreciated!
Well, Danny has done a great job of the write up
What he needs as PR/Media Director of AP-Tuning is a better video camera tho.....Go pro for 2012 I reckon!
What an interesting event, trying to drive in the near dark was definetly a challenge. Basically you had to trust you were turning at the correct points on a couple of the corners and tell yourself not to lift the throttle when your mind was screaming at you to brake!!
I had to use a good 2-3 of my timed runs to get used to my new sticky slicks! So, that only left me with 3 runs in whcih to make one count! and luckily I did! But as the times show.....boy it was tight! And thats the great thing about the MLRSS, each event always goes down to the wire for FTD and Class wins!
Muchos thanks to Gary and Danny for all their help, knowledge and support throughout the year, its been awesome fun and the car now is certainly something special!
Basically, APT had built 5 of the top 10 finishers at the Sprint at Teeside! Mightly impressive I'd say!
I had no major mechanical failures throughout the season which says loads in itself when driving the car hard with nigh on double the horsepower of the standard car!
Roll on 2012! Where hopefully we'll be able to start where we left off!
