Looks a close run thing best of luck Logan you certainly seem to have had stiffer competition this year than in previous MSA competitions.

Danny the analysis was pretty impressive all the same

Now having pre-sprint drinks and food in the hotel bar. Plenty of time before the 2pm start tomorrow! You can follow the live timing with the link in the other threads (can't post it myself as i'm on my phone) :D

I think the results speak for themselves. :D

A proper battle between Baz and Logan all evening, with Barry setting a rapid time on his third run. Logan knew he had time in-hand for the first section onto the back straight, it was just nailing the complete lap together. Baz's quickest time wasn't without incident though, over-cutting the chicane section with it's harsh kerbing led to cracking the front bumper and driver's side wing.

Fourth run, another slightly messy lap from Logan meant a slower time than before, and one less chance. Barry set-off with another hard launch... but returned slowly, his transfer box deciding it had had enough. Barry was out.

Fifth run, Logan made an almighty launch and pushed hard. I was standing at the far end of the circuit, and hearing the amount of kerb he was taking with the sheer speed he maintained through that section, I knew it was a good time. Didn't realise how good until I saw the screen. :hurray:

At the end of the day, it's not the way Logan would've liked to claim the Class honours with Baz dropping out, but seeing how much he was shaking afterwards, you could see getting the time pushed Logan far beyond his comfort zone in the car. Barry would've done extremely well to beat it.

So, massive congratulations to Logan for getting FTD, First in Class on the day, for winning Class C, and for his Second place in the Overall MLR Sprint Series Leaderboard.

Hard to get decent footage in the dark, plus with my phone, but I managed to get the tail-end of Logan's FTD (and kerb hopping), plus the end of Gary's run-
