Seems I am in good company as I am totally knackered after today, really nice to see the friendly faces from BP and as ever an excellent TD from Dave and all at Snetterton.

Try and put a few words together tomorrow, in the mean time going to bed in a mo to dream about kicking the arse of a certain Lotus Driver and chuckle at Fast Eddies inside line

I`m knackered too........ and i wa n`t even driving!
What a great day though! Daves days are always so well run and today was no exception! I belive there was only two maybe three red flags all day? And then the track was open again in no time, So absolutly brilliant and well done everyone who were out on track!
So many bigpower faces were in attendance it was like a mini meet.
A massive thank you to Harry for putting up with me in his passenger seat for much of the day!:) I promise i will bring ol yella next time!;) I do wish i had sorted the brakes etc.. on it and brought it along today as seeing Trev out in the wonderful (if rather rapid) pulsar made me miss the battle days! Added to which we could have smoke screened the whole of the track if they had both been out there.:D
Jason thanks mate for the passenger laps and as always very, very well driven! I love that car and the way it is just so planted round the track. I chuckeled to myself several times as Harrys old racing buddie always says "when cornering use all of the track" and it must be said you got every penny out of that track toady mate! What with that and you saying "I aim for the tyres on the apex!" F#*k me you weren`t kidding! and i loved every minuite of it! Just get some nos fitted!! That should sort out those track hogging 911`s?:sifone: Talking of track hogging Harry did a bit steamed trying to get past an elise that was making his car the widest on track. I think this was compounded as on the previous session harry had been getting closer to eddy before the session was stopped and was desperate to have a play with the mighty metro this time round. So harry had backed off to let eddy go by and then gave chase. I think within a couple of corners we had tucked up behind this elise which eddy spent a couple of laps trying to get by it before finaly showing him who was boss.;) Harry then must have spent the next four or five laps stomping all over the back of him getting seriously miffed as he just would n`t let us though even pulling over to block us up senna straight. In the end harry brushed aside the red mist and a chance of play with eddy and done the grown up thing of slowing down to make some space between us and him.
Jon, mjp and monster were all going very well today. It was also good to see fezza and chris with his lovely little gordini that just looks better and better each time i see it. I saw petes cracking camaro out on track but did n`t see anything of him in the pits? But saw Aarons vxr in the pits but not out on track, which is unusual as that normaly comes flying past us at some point during the day!
Mikes golf seemed to be going exceptionaly well and is now so lightweight that im sure if he does n`t fit some downforce soon it will take off!:D
Bloody odd though comming home from a trackday still knackered but not having driven!

As everyone above said  Particularly being totally Knackered!! But really great day, great company, great driving too.

Really nice to see so many otgher BPers, even if I did upset Russ early on by trying to nab my own garage, then coming back with my tail between my legs later... sorry bud, it wasn't anything personal :o

Sorry also not to have spoken to a few more people but I seemed to end up kind of busy either driving or sorting my dad out who got a good go today which is great as while the GTR has been playing up he's often ended up with the least time of anyone.

BP highlights for me were the rapid Pulsar, are they ever not gonna be awesome cars, always loved them, the Camaro (Again), totally love that thing and as for tracking it with a 3 speed slush box that is brilliant. Was going really well from what I could see too. The Red Golf, (sorry fella don't know your name) was flying when I saw it early on. Fletch's Bee Em was looking great and saw him living up to his nickname out on track too!! Was a shame not to have met Jon or any of the scoobs on the circuit but from what I saw on the pit wall they were all flying and having a bloody good laugh to boot. Oh and also saw Eddys metro flying round which I'm beginning to realise is pretty much standard practice wherever it goes....

Apologies to Aaron who I pulled a bit of an ambitious move on very early on which I realised fairly quickly (altho too late to do anything about) was a wrong 'un. Sorry fella, would've said something but never actually saw you in the pits. Still, all good fun eh?

From a personal point of view today was a massive success. The car ran perfectly, the "blowing shit loads of oil out of the catch tank and all over the front wheel" problem has been solved with the head drain etc, and I finally got a bit of seat time.

Loved the new Snett, really challenging circuit and as for corum, that's gonna really take some learning/trying/spinning to feel even vaguely like I'm doing it right. Will admit to a little hanker after the old layout but hey, the new one is awesome. Also good to catch up with James up in the control tower too - good work by all of you guys as ever today bud.

Roll on the next one....

Nice write ups and the reviews of the TDO, gathering, driving standards and grins are all pretty favourable.

Great to read that Jason was out there painting his trademark stripes everywhere; also chuffed to hear that your GTR is rewarding you Monster ;)

Having to re type this after spending half an hour doing a post only to press the wrong button and deleted it , what a fuckwit . Anyway had an excellent day what with the weather and a car that ran well , iam also i bit knackered which i think is down to hauling 1,5 tons of Detroit iron around the the track . Managed to speak to monster and that GTR is awsome must have been the quickest thing out there i also saw TK with the Pulsar who must have been going some to boil his brakes . Didnt really speak to other BPers as i was parked at the end of the paddock , i mean how can i get there early i only live 3 miles away . Was parked next to a guy with a mini cooper who managed to fall off the track during the first session , shame really 10am and already stuffed his car . As for the track i was struggling with the hairpins then i spoke to a guy with a Porsche who said he found them difficult after which it didnt bother me some much . The Camaro ran pretty good and cornered ok i fact it was me who needed to be braver in the corners and i found i could brake alot later and the car would go round ok . Now that the motor is running better i found it only needed a small change to the jetting in the carburettor after which i didnt touch the engine . This was a change from last time where i spent ages faffing around under the bonnet ,so today i spent more time on track and i actually needed to go a put more fuel in the tank . Top day and thanks to opentrack and the Snetterton marshalls for organising the day .Pete:Chevy_anim:

The landrover was me when my brakes disappeared, I tiptoed around but at corum they completely went to nothing so opted for the grass rather than taking someone out
Small one's are more juicy
