You must have that the wrong way around Tony?? Auto's on these or any other 4x4 are wayyyyyyyyyyyy more desirable than a manual. Everytime I've gone to buy a 4x4, and that's quite regularly, the auto's always hold better prices.

Russ
The import models featured the wing mounted mirrors as an option on a lot of 4x4's. Toyota, Mitsi....they love a mirror or two; and that was a stupid question :)

Yeah its even weirder Russ as its on the wrong side of the car !!

Not a bad find though Dan but I didnt realise a P reg vehicle would hold its value so much.

Stupid question alert!!
Why do a lot of import pajeros have an extra wing mirror on the fronts wing? Was it a factory fit thing or aftermarket?

Thats the high curb mirror Russ :) In Japan they have enormous curb stones out there. so to avoid smacking the wheels, they fitted that so you can see ;) also they have corner lights under the indicators to light up that side of the road when you indicate ;) clever stuff eh :smash:

As Stu said Tony, the autos are the more sought after ones as they are less hasstle to own and drive. Plus you can body lift these quite high with the auto box, but with the manual, you have to start lengthening gear linkages, cables etc

It's on the correct side Gareth ;) Cheers, it is rather nice for its age. the odd bit of scrape here and there, but nothing that a can of paint and laquer can sort. :) but at the end of the day, it's horses for courses. It's a truck not a show queen :D

OK must be me then. When I was selling my oldmans when he died everyone was saying that the manual was a lot rarer, more desirable and held there money more.
