congratulations , its been a long time coming
must be itching to get it mapped and actually drive it

if its only an alternator thats the problem after all that reworking then very well done mate,

certainly looks nice in that bay

Thanks so much for the continued support guys. The fat lady hasn't sang yet but it's a huge step for me and the car. I can't wait to get her running properly and have a trip up to see you all. Thanks for taking an interest.

Well i thought id add some pics now shes basically complete.

Did a little refurb on the replacment alternator. Dont worry, just paint and yes i have tested it since lol. Also added the strap to the back of the alternator.

Also having owned the car for 7 years, id never got round to buying any bonnet dampers lol. So finally got a set of these.

And some random shots of the car now she looks like a car once more

Think so Alyn. Simons coming in the morning so can 100% confirm then. Im positive it's sorted now as I have a battery light for the first time and when running she sits at a solid 14.2v now mate.
