Dan, unless you put in big bucks it will be dull, I bought the white one for 550ish but still had to spend 500 to sort it but to tidy it up would have been another grand - I like my golf but it's not the most exciting, just stick with your 4x4 if you are on a budget

Thanks for your imput so far guys, it's all been very useful and given me alot to think about :nod: I would watch wheeler dealers at 9 Russ, but i'll use youtube instead so i can cut past that numpty :rolleyes: :D

I do hate wheeler dealers ... honestly if two people's income was solely based on the money they make on the cars they sell .. those two would be homeless !! .. there is never any mention on the fact that "Ed ma china" has spent 3 weeks of tinkering - then they congratulate themselves on

Dan, if you want a cheap project buy Pierre ... at least you know there is very little to spend on it. MPG is good too.
