Mk2 escort with a screamer of n/a engine on carbs or throttle bodies
Wide arches in White or yellow, stripped / caged
Set or old compomotive split rims
Well that's what I'd do :D
Or buy an integrale but you need to make sure you don't have short arms and deep pockets
Or..... I could go on for days
Small one's are more juicy

Supercharged E36 with decent brakes, seats and suspension
Mk2 Golf with coilovers, seats and a 1.8t in it
The list is endless........like Trev, this kind of thing is one of my favourite time killers

Congrats on the sale

Thanks Trev and Stuart - food for thought, I must admit I have a hankering to return to the 70s an Escort would do that big time, having seen the price of very rusty examples though it might be prohibitive, as for an integrale, I can always dream :shag: and having rebuilt a few twin cams back in the day at least I know the lump well lol

An E36 isn't my cup of tea to be honest (I know its rear wheel drive but its a beemer - sorry Stu) I already have a VW mk3 golf with coilovers (rather a fat vr6 admittedly lol) but the lighter mk2 and a turbo lump mmmmmm:drool5:

I can see why this can be addictive

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....
