Quick update before another mad work filled week.
new leads and plugs supplied by Mr Judd (Dave J) and after 20 minutes twiddling, they were all on and............................................the stuttering is gone:party:

I did about 10-12 miles, so a longer run tomorrow will tell, but so far, so good.

MOT Tuesday, that should be fun with a 24 year old car:willy_nilly:

had my car on the ramp yesterday and its absolutly mint even gordon was impressed with the condition of it and said its a good base for my new project soon.
good look for the MOT, if a sierra has made it this far in its life its been well looked after and yours is a great example mate.

They arrived yesterday, but I'm on a flipping course this weekend, so won't get chance till tomorrow night at the earliest.
As for looking lush...........a raven Recaro interior would look lush, mines more living room spec.

Nearly ended the build thread tonight!
I was late for work tonight, and now having to travel an hour rather than ten minutes down the road, had to press on to make up some ground.
The main road I wanted was closed, and I thought I could hit the back roads into Basildon but unfortunately they hit back.
I've been meaning to get some new tyres for a while, but on the approach to a right hander, I realised I was carrying too much speed and the car ploughed straight on into a field!!.
In shock, I whacked it into reverse, and wheelspun out of the green stuff. Luckily for me, there was no ditch, and as it turns out, no resultant damage (apparently).
The tyres, albeit old, have plenty of tread, but they will definitely be going to be recycled (Stu-Do you need any more plant pots mate?)
I won't be taking the same route home, nor the same brisk approach.
