Excellent Mr B

Was just thinking the other day, its a shame you don't still have the Impreza, would of been interesting to see how we got on against each other now I have a car with a bit more poke

And don,t think i would of kept up with you and your new stead.

Hmm, I reckon it would of been tight, your Impreza was light, my Evo is still fairly heavy. Plus you can drive a bit as well Mike

Hi Andy, why not enter?? Think there is a Scoob from 22b entering.Andy916 wrote:Would like to come along and say hello, if spectators are allowed.
But if not then specators are fine. There is also a MLR trackday happening on the 200 circuit that day as well, so plenty to come look at. Time attack Final is on the Sunday so its a full weekend of jap crap at Snetterton!!
The extra runs compared to most sprints is good, but do you reserve full launches for a smaller number of timed runs? Have always been a bit wary of launching the scoob (310lbft, v6 5-speed, Exedy single-plate, 6kg flywheel, RE070 or 595RSR tyres).

Hi Andy
I personally don't lauch my car at all in practice in the morning, then depending on how my times are going in the afternoon I may skip a couple of runs or just lead in gently after lunch with some softer launches.
I would say if you want to set a competitive time (ie the quickest you can do) then a minimum of 3 proper launches would be needed. But you don't need to launch at all if you don't want to.
My Old Impreza had 350 lbs ft and it was fine all the time I used it. Luanching from 5.5k-6k rpm and lifting off clutch as quick as I could.
