Bye Bye Impreza :)

The short version of a long story is that I am selling it. I have already had a few offers so I will be speaking to those people again and seeing who has cash NOW :D

That's four cars this year................what next?

Sale or breaking advert to follow soon.

Real shame that :frown:, unless of course you made a few quid on it, then that's excusable.

I know that if I keep it I will want to use it, hard, on a track. That will lead to tears unless I spend money on suspension, brakes and other bits. It's probably fine for daily use but I don't want just daily use.

It has MOT until August next year, tax until October and is generally pretty good. The gearbox does whine but it hasn't got any worse regardless of the abuse. The clutch occasionally judders but once in a blue moon and no slipping at all, any gear and any revs. Good oil pressure from the engine and runs nice and steady in terms of temperature and revs.

It will either make a good few quid in spares or a super cheap bargain for someone. I'm not too bothered which way it goes, but it will be sold as is or stripped within the next 48 hours :)

Poor old Tom :frown:
Where's the commitment, where's the love gone Stu? You heartless bastard!
Quite sad really!

Commitment? Went out with the arc when it comes to old performance cars. I bought it with an exit strategy it just so happens I'm using that option.

Where's the love? I am investing my love into getting back onto race tracks rather than talking about it.

Heartless bastard? Absofuckinglutely :driving:

I didn't sell the Cupra, so that will do short term. I never fell out of love with the ethos of a cheap hatchback like the mk2 for shits and giggles. In some ways the Cupra is the same thing, just reliable.

No idea what the future holds mate but you can bet that I'll be grinning whatever happens

Seems a weird thing to do mate but its your call.
Damn I would love to buy it but Em will kill me, I don't think I can justify another project car :(

Good luck with the sale though.
