It has indeed been very good Trev although it is starting to rattle on the top end when hot, so time to look at refresh options rather than grenade it on a trackday:)Tk wrote:i keep thinking yours is a 328![]()

To be honest Harry i havn't a clue ,would more power stop me trying to carry too much corner speed as i would have the power available on the exit? Can of worms if you ask me ,i'm not clever enough to work out chassis dynamics and i am aware i do not want a "cheque book trackcar" .Harry wrote:Are you going to refresh or replace the engine Jason? I suppose maintaining the balance of the car is a key factor a different engine may well need some chassis fettling to bring it back to today's excellent level of balance
So an e46 m3 engine and a set of motons it is then lol

I think Jason's (and Andrea's for that matter) driving, the car's chassis and brakes could cope with another gob of power all day long. Mr Fletcher plays his ability down massively and is one of the most aware drivers I've sat next to when considering things like tyre degradation. Bearing mind how he likes to smoke the rears up, that may seem contradictory but there we are; seat time in the Fletchers race car taught me that
