A brief update.
Ive had little time to tinker with the golf this week, But i have got a few little jobs sorted out.
Firstly Ive ditched the mini disc player and fitted a bluetooth ready jvc cd player and changed the ariel.
A new/second hand golf ball gear knob has been fitted (thanks steve:thumbs:) And now the gear shift seems so much better now it doesn`t have a sqeulchy knob!:D
The boot latch has been fixed or rather taken apart and greased up, now it works a treat. And while i was playing around with the boot i re-fixed the flappy external boot handle.
The Last job was fixing the wonky drivers seat. I removed the seat, unsed the porta-power to level the frame up and then re-welded the broken brace bar underneath. Im pleased that the seat is now no longer trying to tip me out and into the passenger seat.

I must admit im realy liking the old gal. It makes me smile lots and is such a galatic distance away from the Audi.
I got back in the audi today after spending the last couple of days tooling the golf around and audi not only seems bloody quick but also seems even more like a big comfy sofa than it did before. But that is not the biggest difference. That is the fact that when in the audi it seems to insight far more road rage. In the golf i get let out of junctions etc and its fun to punt around town. So when tooling around here i shall be using the golf.
