That took me back to the first drive of our car:D.
The modern generation have no idea what they are missing, where every fibre of your body tingles from the moment you turn the key, the anticipation of what lies ahead.

A university up here is working on artificial noises for electric cars to help make the public aware they are coming....How sad...

Tan was abundantly clear I was on my way to pick her up......she reckoned that she could hear the car about two minutes before I pulled into the drive and none of that was on boost!

This one is from my motorbike days I had a Norton with twin Gold Star open mega silencers sounded fantastic on the overrun, we were on our way to the Cellar in Windsor and had just left Slough and came up to a roundabout under the M4 dropped down a couple of cogs and some poor old bloke on his bantam simply stepped off his bike as I went through the roundabout.

Nearly crashed laughing he gave me a right old bollocking when I went back to see how he was.

Did crash the bike a little late and ended up sitting on my arse next to a no parking sign justice done I suppose

Put one of the silencers om my mates Consul Estate and of course we got stopped by the boys in blue, this young copper but his head under the car to see if we had an exhaust on so I gave it a boot-full of throttle cant understand why he told us to fuck off

And yes things were a little different then don't think I could survive as a teenager today

Place: Snetterton
Event: BigPower track day

We had not long been introdued to BigPower by Stuart, who we had met at Cadwell. We decided to pop down to Snetterton to pay our membership and also to pay for a track day in the new year.

As we arrived at snetterton we were like a pair of school kids eagerly pointing out cars that we recognised from the forum. The paddock was more like a Nissan car park with skylines where ever you looked. Once we park Herbie up I turned to Alan and said 'Pop the bonnet so they can see the size of our turbo'........

Bonnet opened, we confidently strolled across the paddock....The first car we came to was a skyline, no surprise there...the bonnet was open, so we had a quick look in the engine bay:redface:

I turned to Alan and said, 'Feck me, shut our bonnet'

. The size of the turbo in that thing....oh my god....What an eye opener.

Great days........I still remember that event @ Cadwell like it was yesterday. That bloody splitter/undertray/snowplough you guys had fitted

I liked it so much I built my own one for Betty!

Cadwell shaped it nicely for us, or at least took an inch off it

. You can even hear it on the video footage scrapping when just coming back into the paddock.
