Instead they convinced me that if was updating the front why not go for the cristal lights and larger grille? so a super deal was done.
Still need a bonnet though!
I could n`t resist plonking the lights and grille in for a trial fit. (i think silver and yellow are not a good colour combo?) And yes the car is filthy.
Looks Good Russ really does change that front end

The lights were a special price mate!;):D And the roof bars were just an un-necessary weight. And yes although pinky has n`t even landed yet, I`m feeling the competition!:driving:

Jon, How long has your signature been modified like that? - I like it!:coolgleamA:

Bart, Thank you for putting your time up. It looks like it was just the launch that put me ahead? It would be good to have a pod battle though.

Nice signature strip Jon; never noticed it before :)
I always felt like my old Classic was taken away from me when it was written off. I never got the true enjoyment of ownership as it had a few niggles and was a totally stock UK car, so had little to no trademark noise and lacked the punch of so many that I have been in. It will be a pleasure to be back in one again and oh-so nice to be able to tell people what I drive with pride rather than dodge the question and tell them I'm taking time out!!

Tbh, I get to work on and drive quite a diversity of Scoobs on a daily basis and despite some of higher power cars that we have in, I get more pleasure from driving a standard "out of the box" car than a fire spitting monster.
I think i'm getting what Dan is about with keeping the Supra as OE as possible :coolgleamA:

Jon, as you work on them, how do you find them, mine seemed a right bastard, is it just cos I'm used to in line 4's? The suspension and brakes were great to work on, but the engine.....jeez!

Yup!
I've done mystery shops on other garages and as soon as i mention the word Subaru the price quadruples!!!
Some people seem to have a mental block when it comes to a flat 4, But strip away the air box, battery, tmic and washer bottle and everything is easily accessible i.e plugs, injectors, turbo etc etc. Even things like a clutch/box change is much easier than say a Mondeo or vectra.
