I've never been a fan of the E Type Jag but that new one was stunning. The 1M was pretty special as well.

I absolutly aggree mate! The original one i always think looks like a torpedo with its super narrow wheel base, But the new one has much better proportions. The 1M was supurb! I`m so glad BMW used the coupe and not the hatch. Who else thinks the hatch looks like a sad old boot?
I get a little steamed over what chris bangle did to bmw. He took some of the finest looking cars around and turned them into a bunch of munters. Thankfuly BMW are getting back on track and chris bangle is now doing what he does best...........designing food blenders!- seriously!:smilielol5:

Getting very fed up with the short one behaving like a Pratt and the big one showing how quickly he can shred a set of tyres or am I just getting grumpy.

Thought the e-type looked good especially when you think how advanced it was in 1961 most production cars still had drum brakes and heaters were an extra but it did cost around two years salary and if you fitted a radio you needed a licence to play it in the car

i have to be honest. i never actually bother with topgear anymore ._. just because it started to get a bit old hat with the stuff they did. Used a template and just altered things slightly per episode.

I did spot that as well, they tried to fool us simple petrolheads by driving round it, the opposite way to Top Gear.
