The next meet- July/August 2011 @ Snetterton

The forum seems to be totally dead at the moment. Why haven't the snetterton meets started back up again? Not enough interest?

Hello chap, we are looking to arrange a meet, the problem in the past has been we've organised meets however lots of people who said they'd be there don't turn up leaving the 'hardcore' few so it hasn't turned out to be worth opening tyrells etc ...

As to the forum being quiet, it just is, there is no real reason. The buzz always gets going just before and after a trackday.

hmm bit of a catch 22 I guess. The forum will become more active if there are more meet ups. Can we start an interest thread to try and get some definate numbers or something? I think the SXOC guys are keen to join maybe.

how many would that be do you reckon? ... the admin are currently looking to organise them thing for either June or July.

I think around 5 or so turned up to the first one they held in Little Melton. I might be able to pull some rex's in possibly. There arent many about here though.

I'll be there for any meets

Any options for one of the track nights again or did we have a lack of interest for the last one? Maybe arrange a meet around one of the MSV arrive and drive sessions in the evening?

I know it's a long way off from now, but we could have a meet during/after the MLR Sprint at Snetteron on September 24th (Saturday) around the small "100" circuit. After all, it looks like there'll be a few members taking part, and several going to watch.

Hopefully the APT Evo will be out for some fun too.

you mean it will move under its own steam.

Will be good to see it driven in anger again.. A meet at the sprint would be good, also a meet when there is a evening track on would be good.

I am working on an Autotest at Snetterton in late June or early July, mid-week after work (i.e 5.30pm until 8pm)

More details to follow.

Track nights are a non-starter unless we can piggy back on to a TDO's events and they haven't come up with anything yet (I have asked)

Will keep you all posted but any events/meets will require confirmed numbers and your guarantee that if you say you're coming, you turn up
