Mines good on fuel though, only done 10 L's in 3 events!!

If it was road going I would bring it down, but its not due to the dog box..

Will pop down at some point on the R1. :D

More stuff arriving all the time... my postman must be getting pissed off with me by now. This was todays little bundle :D

Oil cooler bolted up now with a slightly revised duct to aid ease of fitment. Just gotta plumb this up now :)

DEI wrap arrived today so took the turbo/uppipe back out and got these wraped up. Gave the wastgate pipe and extra layer of Kevlar to help protect the steering UJ.

Got the steering rack to swap when the bushes arrive and i'll get these droped back in and clamped up tight :)

The level of prep you are going for; is that for longevity, your own peace of mind or because you feel your level of tuning necessitates it? I know how careful you are but I was interested whether your engineering knowledge ''told' you this was all required or whether it's just down to your pride in the car and job.....

Kind of a bit of both to be honest Stu.

I guess I have a certain vision in mind of how I think a car should be built. I wouldn't dream of running any kind of fuel or oil line near any source of heat without proper protection. This is how I'm expected to run instrumentation at work and I know what works and what doesn't. So that's exactly how I'll build my own. Likewise if I had the budget I would have continued the ceramic coating on the up and downpipes. This would have been another
