piere the pug 205 gti

Post by Tk »

due to an expanding stable we have to part with a car and what a little demon this has been in the short time we have had it
205 gti 1.6 previously sorento green now matt black
still has a long tax and mot till january 2012
6 point safety devices roll cage
2 almost brand new red grp bucket seats, side mounted
passenger side is fixed and drivers is on a slider to allow different people to drive it comfortably
brake issues all sorted out (turned out to be a leaking rear cylinder)
interior all stripped as much as possible, all lower dash etc removed
sunroof removed and plated over
guttman grill
guttman lower front splitter
bumpers lightened with a hole saw and allow airflow on the rear after removing the spare wheel and cage holder
still has a heater and electric windows

this is a budget track car and certainly puts a smile on your face
we done one trackday at snetterton 300 curcuit and it didnt miss a beat all day, then was not used for a few weeks, then out she came again for a euro trip to the berg cup hillclimb in luxembourg where she didnt miss a beat

oh and even has a full service history

price to bp members is

lol, nice work :)

This car was mechanically maintained without concern for cost so it's a good one .. now that Trev has sorted the body work you really couldn't get a better 1.6! ... full and I mean full service history.

new cambelt, new starter, new water pump, new alternator .. i'm sure there is more ...
Dum spiro, spero

cheers guys, we would have kept wee piere but the pulsar has meant he has to go,
he has served us well though in the short time we had him

if it dont sell then it will sit around the yard unused probably
all it needs is some decent suspension really, but even some springs and a tweak on the torsion bar would do it :)

Yes kicking around unmoved, we did say it's time for pier to move on as we just don't use it, although I did take it out last week as I need to load something and it was the nearest car to me, after weeks sitting first turn and of he went
It will be sold with one seat which is a new sparco fia seat
Needs to go, make an offer, still taxed and motd
