MLR Sprint Series Rd 3: Lydden Hill 18th June

Post by blacky »

Who's interested in entering? You don't need an Evo to enter, no race licence, no overalls needed, just you, a helmet and a car!!

This knocks the socks off trackdays! 4 different classes if you have an Evo, if not there is a guest class which usually has all sorts from an Ariel Atom, Scoobys,GTR's and Clois etc etc

Get amoungst it:D This is the easiest way to try some motorsport out! You can evern take round your mates as passengers for free!!!

Though as I understand it for Lydden Hill, spectators have to pay

Great track, I'm sure you'll enjoy it Logan.

So, do the non-Evo cars get the same minimum of 10 runs through the day (just curious!)

Thanks Andy!

Yup, all runners get a minimum of 10 runs, all the events I've been to there have been 14-16 runs in the day!

Get yer name down Andy :D

Tempting, but it's one week before my main sporting event of the season, all my training for months has been aimed at this one http://www.threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk/ and I don't have much time left over tbh! Running a hill marathon in peak district this weekend for training.

Oulton on Aug 13 might be more feasible...

Car needs geo and map tweak (hopefully it's only that) but is in good shape otherwise. Would be slow in MLR company tho!

Fair enough Andy, and there is also Snetterton in September!

Non-Evo's have their own class and you can compare times to comparable specced car, yours if it was an Evo would be Class B I reckon.

Good luck with the running!

I am, But that's a 250 mile round trip for me and with petrol costing what it does...

but I will be popping over to Snett on the 29th to have a look see and to try and get my head around what's involved. Would be great/helpful to have a chat on the day if you have 10 minutes spare?
