My GTR replacement
So, she's back home and now had a proper run .. Engine is strong as an ox - runs beautifully ... however I think I need.
1. new steering rack
2. new droplinks
3. new lower ball joints
4. replacement drive shafts
5. new gear selector kit
Other than that it's awesome to have it back and it's lasted so frekin well - no rust, no dents, interior perfect (including the 16v on the dash
) ... so going to sort out the minor lack of steering problem and driveshaft vibration under heavy acceleration ... all for less than a GTR clutch
.. happy daze

Righty tighty - now that the tracking is done the toe on one wheel was 4.23 off !!!!!! .. it runs straight and true so we can scratch steering rack and droplinks etc from my list .. that's saved a few pennies .. hurrah.
So I think I'll be looking for a bush kit, refresh engine mounts etc.
What is a good roll cage for a mkII ?

For lowish budget try the rollcentre
http://www.rollcentre.com
that's what I fitted to my mk1 plus they add what you want very reasonably
I added a x brace in the back hoop instead of the single and only charged me the material cost
you do have to wait several weeks for them to make it though
Safety devices are similar to above but more cash, plus I had to wait ages for the pulsar one
Not sure on the omp ones as seen on the bay
Or go the whole hog for about a grand and get a fully fitted weld in
