On the demo laps because they were slow laps Alan needed some other way to amuse himself. So he kept backing off from the car in front and would then accellarate and throttle off causing the wastegate to sing and it sounded a bit like a very large dove:bigear:. We could even hear him as he was going round coram.

"Hello Ben..

Will you thank the BigPower chaps at Snetterton today, the cars made a good show and I hope that it was worth their while. Hopefully we will be able to build on this.

Regards........... Leigh"

Finally got broadband back (hate BT broadband so bloody unreliable)
Saturday was a great day out and an opportunity to catch up with people Bart & Pablo deserve a pat on the back for journeying all the way from Brum but at least Alan got to do 2 laps
TK have to say it Jaffa looks brilliant a real credit to your car build skills
Daniel, stop messing about and get a turbo
Tony I think your evo looks the business
But Big Phil's Mustang is just amazing and the standard of engineering is good enough to be a Boiler Maker
FORC had a great range of cars both static display and out on track, mostly from my era and well before, favourite cars mini Cooper S and Sunbeam Rapier

The racing was fun to watch but unless you were timing specific cars it evolved into somewhat of a procession still the Aston looked and sounded great, the Morgans went well but sadly the Gulf Porsche failed as it exited Palmer.

All in all a great day with enjoyable company

We'll have to get both of our cars on track at the same time- would sound like a flock of 'em going around. :D
Finishing off the Ford ;)

Except to add i loved the sound of the Tr6. It was brilliant to finaly get to speak face to face with pablo, bart and bigfil. I know everybody else has already commented on the mustang, But it realy is a sublime work of art:drool5:
