The way you were going Eddy I think you need ballast, rather than more work to stay ahead, we thought at one time you were going to mix it big time with the caterham moronsFast Eddy wrote:Yes Rob, as i said on the day, your car seemed to be a vast improvement. Looks like i may have to do some more work on the Metro to stay ahead lol.

Well two days on and im still grinning.
Like Trev i had nt realised that the cool camero belonged to a bp member.......(supurb car pete:thumbs:)
One thing that the new track has highlighted for Harry and i, is how crap the standard scooby seats are! I made my shoulder blade bleed through being flung about in the seat! That never happened on the old track. So thats something else to add to the must do list on `ol yella.
Also as Harry has already mentioned it was a strange moment when we found ourselves cheering on a little white metro when we though eddy was going to beat a caterham through the bends.
I know its our home track etc.. but with the exception of the race caterhams i thought the atmosphere of the place was brilliant. I am so grateful to the guy Lawrie parked next to us in the paddock in the race M3. He very kindly gave me some special magic fix tape to repair my burst hose on the understanding that i phoned him when i got home to see if the stuff was that good? And yes it does work, i just dont understand how it works so well? And thank you Mike for the loan of the pliers.
Infact i know it was a bloody good day as we were still there when the chequered flag fell and i could count the number of times we`ve done that before on one hand.
When is your next snetterton day Dave?:D

Thanks for the kind comments on the Metro Russ/Harry. Yes, in the afternoon when i had put my sticky tyres on i let a Caterham through then almost kept up with it through the twisties and found myself catching it up on the long straight lol.
