these are a bit more subtle then the cupra r fronts

The yellow is a facelift Cupra R and they OE bumpers cost big bucks. The grey one is a v1 Cupra R and once again cost a few quid to get them. I am seriously tempted to buy something from one of the Polish manufacturers (as long as I can find one with good feedback)
In terms of work it really needs to be;
1) Cambelt etc
2) Boost leak
3) Remap courtesy of Dr Hayward
4) Lower it
5) Exhaust
That will take a good few quid but should change the way the thing goes and runs.

the yellow one is a cupra r bumper the grey one is a cupra diesel bumper and was fitted to a cupra like yours after 2003 i think...the cupra r have never had the one in the pic i put up

I got bored of sleeping and eating earlier (well, it has taken four days!!) so I dug through my collection of spray cans and found some radiant red from Ford. I have had these a number of years, so I had no real idea what to expect.
The lower part of the bumper trim (seen here
) was black and measures about 40mm..............instant lowering if it was colour coded, right?

Engine bay tarted up
I think it's an improvement and bearing in mind the lack of effort and expense, it's a winner
I also have to allow for smashing the thing to bits, driving up and down this
About a quarter of a mile, maybe more, before you get to a main road and this track routinely destroys most vehicles that use it regularly. Small price to pay for keeping the riff-raf out
(Excuse the weird colours; my car is still red, just the bright sunlight plays havoc with the camera!)
