SEAT Leon Cupra
180hp
312mm brakes
6 speed box
decent build quality
shocking ride height.........proper Massey Ferguson spec
stock everything. Boo :(

Lots of little niggles that go with a Y reg car with 112k

A few spots of rust and interior trim that have wandered off. Even the drivers side mirror has taken a whack and got damaged!

Nice driving position though with decent OE seats. The handling is a bit.............crap! The car is so much heavier feeling than the Lexus but I guess the shocks may be fooked. The exhaust makes no noise at all so my game plan looks like this

-Stock OE Cupra R wheels
-Something like a Magnex cat-back
-An uprated set of springs and dampers, hopefully running about 40mm lower
-A little Hayward remap

Bosh!!

Apart from the obvious niggles, are you happy with the new purchase/swap?
And more importantly will it see a track sometime soon :auto:

Oh, and pics?

Happy? Yeah, overall it's a better bet for my tastes. I miss the rear wheel drive and handling but I am sure a few quid on suspension will make a big difference. 100% will be on track at some point but I have to accept that it will not make a good track car; too heavy for the power and too many things that I want in a daily that I'd lose in a decent prepared track car.

Pics? No :) Use your imagination!
