Interesting post Gary.

Gordon is having to work under difficult circumstances, namely us.

The original plan was to use the 205 block that we had for this year, then over the winter we were planning to get a 200 block as a good block, costs from

That's a pretty good reply :) I think most of us can only push things as far as we do (financially) with the help, guidance and support of a very friendly tuner. Oh how I remember the days...........

dont take my comments as negative mate,im just saying it as i see it,to have holes in blocks and turbo failures in the end someone has to hold hands up as these regular failures shouldnt be happening to a professional.

sometimes you need to just take a step back and ask WTF!

I fully undestand your post as don't take it as negative. Everything that goes on with is not posted and thats our fault. Whether or not the weaknesses could have been spotted after the bores were honed I don't know. But I inspected them myself as a 'layman', there were no scores or cracks visable to the eye or touch so who knows.

One thing that we as a Team do is to operate a no blame policy. Everything has to be a team decision, therefore stopping arguements about who broke what.

Gordon knows what we are like, Alan wants to do almost everything and I want to know almost everything and Gordon accommodates this, not many would...lol

Your input and insight is always valued. Your work speaks for itself and hopefully in the near future we can do the same for Gordon.

in the years ive know him he has NEVER refused to go against me down the strip knowing we had a slower car so this time around if he declines the invitation at a race there is only one reason he wont, knowing he might lose.

guys its bad news im affraid, the guy in question about drag racing is not going to be at santa pod, had a text from him saying he's not going to be there as he spent to much on his car last year and is short of cash and wont be using his car at all this year, boo.

im absolutly gutted he's not going to be there as i thort it would be really close as his reaction times have never been that good really as he he starts with a reaction time around 0.6-1.0 and mine are quicker than that so would have jumped him at the start.

owe well im going to have to find someone else to pick on now for a race, were's gordons number:smilielol5:
