cheers Mike, very wise words indeed :) hopefully when they are bedded in i should be able to take the piss a bit more with late braking rather then my old pads overheating then fading. i remember where i was getting closer and closer to a bmw into esses with no room to move, that shit me up a bit.

He must have been on a cool down lap ;)
Get it on the weigh bridge Dan...........it's all about the power to weight ratio.

already have mate, was 1128kg like i told you on Saturday ;) when i meant getting closer Stu i meant his brakes were working and mine wasnt ;) really was an eyeopener that one. hopefully now things will be different, no more "oh fuck" moments

so i fitted them on tonight, and they do look good.

however the drivers side didn't go totally to plan :/ everything went on okay and the passenger side was just as smooth, but then when i took it up the road and back, it was like an old fighter plane on fire with the amount of smoke that was being kicked out! took it all apart again to find that the carriage locked up because someone forgot to regrease the bloody thing and that i forgot to remove some of the fluid from the resevoiur :) so all is well now, if it smokes tomorrow i will punch myself in the face

meant to be 175 mate, but we'll see what Gary counts on the 10th :) still pulls very well though so it shouldnt have lost many.
