Best of luck Tommy

The car is looking great and the peace of mind of having a full GSR check over must be nice!

Donington in an E36; what a wonderful combination :D

We were at Donington on Sunday for the first drive since last year and to shakedown the car before the first race on Saturday :hurray:

It was wet in the morning but dried up late morning however it remained greasy until very late afternoon. My driving was a bit rusty and wasn't helped by getting up at 4.15am! Chris was on the money and turned out a fantastic best lap of 1:51.67. I had traffic and could only muster 1:56.04 but if I join up my 2 best laps it's about half a second slower than Chris. So, the car performed great and we also got loads of free advice and tuition from Tom Webb who races in Kumho and other series.

We should be in good stead for Saturday so long as we control our nerves

Big thanks to ALyn at A S Performance and Eddy of Fast Eddys for sorting out various bits and pieces at short notice ;)

The car looks epic and Tom certainly knows how to drive these things quick, so any advice he gave you should be valuable :)

Looking forwards to seeing your results and feedback.
