You will be told in the briefing "But try and avoid running off onto the new grassed areas" I know you won't do it on purpose but you might get charged to repair it by MSV especially as it still very soft and if they have to dig you out !
Have a great time I was there last Friday and it was great......
Welcome to the mad ways of track days, recon you are taking a sound route by doing a Novice Day first, often on TDs you get the offer of free instruction if this is the case take them up on it best way to learn the track, car and yourself.
As Stuart says if any BP members are there seek some advice and offer passenger laps to them to get their view on line and braking points.
Take the day easy and build your speed on the knowledge you gain throughout the day
Most of all be safe and enjoy the day
