snett today.

Post by gary@apt »

spent this afternoon with ross at snett with his new evo 10 rs and seeing new circuit

a few passenger laps and i was reminded how im not a good passenger!

few tanks of fuel later and ross is happy with first few mods done on evo,
remap needed by state of rear bumper

today looked like a test day rather than track day with loads of teams and some fancy cars.

both me and danny looking forward to a few laps in saxo when its ready rather than throwing us in at deep end with evo

Yes, i like these too. Considering selling up everything and getting one, but will it surprise as many people on track as a Metro lol.

The handy thing with a standard X is at the end of the day you can scrape enough unburnt fuel off the back-end to get you home!

Followed you around for a while on friday very nice looking EVO, prob did not see me as in little caterham 2GB Racing black + orange

And yes fab day on the Snett 300 took me until mid afternoon to get half an idea of where to go then things started to hook up nicely.
R400 used to burn 1lt per lap but now up to 1.4lts, got through just over 80lts

Was a great day ! I agree with it looking like a test day especially with the Sakir championship cars out there......
Weather was fantastic even if it was a bit chilly to start with......new layout is fantastic apart from the new coram / russell complex.......not my favorite part of the track but will make for some interesting moments throughout the racing season no doubt !

Both my son and I were out playing I was in the Black Soarer and Chris was out in his Toyota Glanza which was good fun I even braved it going as a passenger with him......

Some good pic's to be seen on this website....
