Hello Stuart, yes there was some great cars there and Boxsters are starting to look a good deal. We had a bit of fun with the Cayman and started to reel it in but I am not sure I could have got the better of it as we had a real problem with vision but perhaps it was the weather which enabled us to be on level terms.

It's their first trackday Harry. I know the guys well, one of 'em is Phil Bennett ex-touring car driver. Too early to say how well their days wil run but all sounds good so far.

They are not 'budget' but rather looking to do something along the lines of a Goldtrack->RMA or like the BaT low-number days.

For instance they have a day at Snett 300 soon, also booked on that with a client but the cost ...

Cheers Maxx, From what you describe this seems more like the TDs I have been on as a passenger at Silverstone mainly Ferrari Owners (not that I had one I was there as a guest) I am sure there is still a keen market for the exclusive and limited numbers TDOs particularly where they are also used for entertaining/coaching.

Look forward to hearing how the day went

Best of luck
Harry

Dave does indeed run excellent TDs but I guess he has pitched his prices at a specific market as the others have, probably the key to success is to appeal to a target market sector if you are running an expensive car such as a GT2 you don't really want to be on track with home bred pocket rockets so the TDO pitches the price to attract Porsche, Ferrari etc and lets be honest that is not in the main our peer group and would therefore shy away from such TDs.

For me there are two key factors cost and number of participants in the main this is within my own peer group

Would I want to operate as a TDO, not blooming likely lets leave that to Dave and co and stick to what we do best enjoying ourselves

[quote="Maxx"]Indeed, agree about Daves days and i'm pleased to see Dave is involved in assisting The Racing Line with his extensive knowledge of the TDO scene.

I notice the price has dropped to
