Jon was running three R1-R's and a part worn R888! (Long story) He was full of praise for the tyres saying that they were every bit as good as R888's in the dry!

As said by all, the revisions to the circuit are extremely good. It does seem to flow very well. I did miss the original Russell chicane but the new corner does make exit speed so much quicker and in turn the speed on the pit straight much higher.

I must say a very big thank you to Stu for introducing me to his mate Mike who very kindly took Lauren and Nico out for some pax laps in his Saxo. They thoroughly enjoyed it and said that Mike was a really nice bloke (please pass on my gratitude Stu) and to a certain Fast Eddy who took me out in the mighty metro. I must say I was very pleasently suprised by the little romping rover. It is so well balanced that it is very stable under braking and just grips so well in the corners even on road tyres on a wet, green track. Thank you Eddy.

It was nice to see some of the faithful massive there (Stu, Ben, Trev, Mike, Eddy, Julian and the late arriving brief appearence of Rob B :D ) and to meet some people that I have not spoken to before i.e. Jon and Matt. by the way Jon, No worries about the pax laps mate. I am sure I will catch up with you at another time. Thanks for the offer mate but we left shortly after I spoke to you as the girls were freezing their preverbials off :D .

Stu, you are more than welcome. I hope the carpet helps it sell/swap ;)

All in all a very good day out despite the weather.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Bloody hell it was wet there today but looked like everyone was having fun can't wait to get out in April.

Big thanks to Stu for the parts.
