Have a look on the fast films site mate; http://www.fastfilms.co.uk/fixed-camera-mounts.php when i had the track mini i used to have the 'super clamp with double ball tilt top head' <- mouthful. But even their cheaper range of scissor clamps are so awesome that they really do pay for themselves.
the only photo i have on this computer (will dig around on photobucket) but here's where mine was mounted. Really sturdy stuff.
EDIT: here we go;

If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask.
You can still video your on track driving however suckers are not allowed only solid mounted cameras.
To be honest it is a far better and safer way of doing it .
The 'ultra clamp', 2nd one down on the fastfilms site should be ideal. I use it all the time. for the heavy duty rold cages you need to remove the small black pad on the end of the tightening screw. This done it should fit any roll cage.
