ARDS Tests?
PASS

Although I did lock up the little VX220 in the wet coming into Paddock Hill Bend and had to release brake pressure, regain grip and nurse the steering angle (due to the speed) but just about managed to keep it on the black stuff haha. Chris told me his test went like clockwork and that the instructor gave him 100% and asked for his autograph
Car prep? PASS!
Freshly picked up from Geoff Steel Racing (GSR) earlier today after having various jobs done to pass race scrutiny.
Starting at the back of the car here's a new rain light Chris had fitted to the bumper. And in terms of what you can't see, underneath the diff has been refitted with a E92 M3 diff with 3.64 final drive and new bearings and seals.
Rear offside has been fitted with the external fire extinguisher and kill switches
In this photo you can see the fire extinguisher bottle has been placed behind the passenger seat. The seat and harness will be removed for racing.
The cockpit now has a dash. You can see the fire and kill switches, the fire extinguisher module
In the engine bay some missing OEM trim has been replaced with some sheet to ensure the radiator gets a proper flow of air and a Kenlowe electric fan kit added. The adjustable thermostat has been set at 55 degrees.
Not that you can see very well, but the rad has been boxed below as well. I assume they've used the OEM part (which was missing) but I won't know until I see the car myself on Sunday. You can also see the new combined splitter and undertray that has been fitted
The money shot
Donington this Sunday to shakedown, then Snetterton to race!
