good to hear you had the car out without to many dramas, bet it felt good to actually use it after all the issues and hassles that come with building a car :thumbs:

Sounds like maybe you guys will have to make a more 'permanent' job of securing the panel, kind-of what Christian cobbled together when he removed the rotten sunroof tray on his RST- http://passionford.com/forum/3411646-post838.html

Not pretty by any means, but it worked. :frown:

Rivets or weld everytime. MikeB stuck his Golf one in using a bonding agent too I think.

i am on the case to sort the panel out and going to go with riviting it on
but not in the usual way:sifone:
