Hankering for Hillclimbing

Post by pablo »

Lately i have been thinking about hillclimbs and the idea of doing one is growing on me. I have had a look on the interweb thingy but all the nice ones seem to be abroad. Are there any decent events in this country, the longer the better, i'm not getting of bed for no 30sec. event:D

I just googled Isle of Man. Looks like what you're looking for ;)

I was just going to say, IoM ... haven't done it myself but last time I looked it was 3 different courses over a weekend. Strong classic slant to the event, and the courses are 0.7 to 1.3 miles. Attitude to motorsports over there is second to none. I lived there for 3 years and have pals that race at the TT and the Manx. Could fancy doing it myself, but unlikely this year.

When is this? Nice time to take a holiday in Cyprus lol.

The E30 and a few others thought is was a drift event.

I think that the E30 at 1:28 would be the Staples boys new favourite car in light of the guilty pleasures thread :D
