The BMW sounds interesting Nik.
But the omega is a spaz-matic.:(
As much as it pains me, A bmw probably is a top choice. After all its got to be strong enough to put up with being wragged senseless by anything upto 5 hairy assed nuckle draggers!:D I think the 200 looked the part, but being forced induction could it put up with the constant abuse?

I take it that "No" was directed at the use of a 200 as a reliable choice?

Right, as far as I can tell from what my brother has told me it is actually a 325 on an L reg. It is all good mechanically but the arches need sorting . It will probably need the tyres pumping up and things like that as it has been stood for quite some time and as a result of this it has no tax or test so it would need trailoring from Hornchurch/Romford area.

But here comes the good bit....................................................He only wants

325 on an L with be a single Vanos M50B25. (pre-dates the alusil/nikasil engines)
Strong as an ox, 192 BHP, and as long as they've had regular oil, can do easy 200k.
Shame this did nt come up another time, I would have had it.

I know he used to service it regularly until he gave it to my younger brother who hasnt really done many miles in it so I would say it would be good.
