Stu if your going to change the air filter put a k+n panel filter in the air box well worth the money.

Really? I presumed there was little to be gained apart from noise?

No theres no noise difference as its in the box its more open than a paper filter the trick is you don,t oil it up and with these engines every tiny bit helps as you carn,t just bolt on a bigger turbo.
