Well I have a 4 speed auto box and came across a post on a certain Skyline forum saying it was possible to remove the pistons out of the accumalors and fit bungs. This causes less slip in the clutches and give you a faster gear change. This has the added benefit of less heat and less wear to the clutches. Although my car is not a Skyline the transmissions mainly work on the same principles.
Anyone see any down side to this?

Trying my hand at web design!!
i did that on my old r33 gtst (but i cheated and bought a valve body allready done from mv auto's) and it does work very well. on a dyno it showed the changes took 0.2 seconds, and knocked a full second off drag times.
changes up and down gears with no delay (spins up on changes up under heavy load)
only thing that is a must is a decent sized atf cooler as it does get hotter.
