Thanks Russ

944's that bad? Thanks for the heads up.

GTO?? :sheep:

Er..........no thanks :) Nice enough cars in their own right, but doesn't meet my requirements.

Dan, I am amazed at some of those prices. Well, horrified actually. No wonder you're smarting at some of the costs.

Steve, some nice enough left field cars, but that 323 is top whack for a Cat D :smash:

I'll keep searching for now.......

Thanjs

My experience with porsche ownership may have just been an un-lucky one? What seemed the stupid thing was the parts prices, Just because it was for a "porsche" (even an un-fashionable four pot smoker!)
The S6 not tempting? I thought that looked a real good buy? or am i wide of the mark?

A nice daily Russ, and normally the sort of thing that I would like, but my gut tells me that Audi S parts prices will hurt.

I think I have to accept that my ever decreasing budget is trying to achieve more and more, each time I buy a car.

Seeing photos of my old 32 tonight make me wonder whether I am wasting my time with cars that will always suffer under comparison.......God knows!! If I had a drink problem, now would be the time to hit the bottle

Seen all of them :)

The blue C36 is the best bet, although Mr Smith's silver one is in fine condition (I have seen other photo's too ;) )

If I was going to spend that on a Sierra, it would have a V8 in it

The more pertinent question to ask at this point is whether the Golf will come back in one bit and working, or dismantled for bits. That (either option) will help to fund whatever happens next.

nah its easy to spend someone elses money :)

S14! 13s are getting too long in the tooth if you dont want to spend your life with a welder, even the very newest ones are 16 years old :/ Sling a LS v8 it a 14 and you're away, effortless power, good chassis, job done :)
