yep totally achieveable but if you dont want to invest further money, it'll be a disposable car in the future for definite. look at mine for example, it's cost be a small fortune (for me) in just over two years of ownership and it's a very well looked after example! (has all history documents) double the budget and you'll get double the quality/reliability. also avoid rev 1 + 2 turbos, the handling is shocking as shit and the engine isnt as strong as the yamaha version of the 3s-ge (mine)

I got offered one of them as a straight swap on the Golf a few weeks ago. Nice enough Tony, but not sure it's 'special' enough. I think I'm being a bit unrealistic (surprise, surprise) but it's good fun being fussy; especially when I compare the potential purchase price of these compared to previous running costs in the past! Keep up the search :thumbs:

Was all of your money spent through necessity though Daniel-san, or were there significant areas of savings that you could have made?

all except for the anti rollbars and intake. had to replace;

Clutch - could've used OEM but it's a similar price to the uprated one.
