well this car really isnt going down without a fight. the fucking chump at the garage has cracked the gearbox casing trying to drill out the broken stud in situ. :@ to say im pissed off is an understatment, i'll be glad to see the back of this car.

Thought of breaking it? Was the best financial sense for me.

Don't really want to break it Matt, i just want rid of. if i can get this part ex'd for a Supra then bonus. besides i dont have any room to leave the car anywhere whilst it's being broken.

Just had a chat with one of our outside engineering companies, they're going to have a look at the gearbox and see if they can repair it which is a bonus.

Bloody hell Dan your not having much luck with this gearbox :frown:
Can't you use the casing from the old gearbox or have you dumped it?

it's been dumped tony as i thought this would be the end of the gearbox saga :rolleyes: but no worries, the gearbox is definatley coming off now and it will be repaired for a tenner :thumbs:

i've lost count of the amount of knackered items i have seen once someone gets the bright idea of using a hand drill :banghead:
