Well done Jay. No one liked to sell their price and joy but I'm sure you'll be happy when you've got the replacement (whatever that may be)

You are well rid mate, they are a nightmare.

Mine went from the dealers in the UK to a dealers in Sweden. Had a call from the latest owner the other week. The latest RK engine with new block, crank etc went pop too!

Yup Its all gonna have to go on hold for the time being chaps. (Apart from the Manta that is ) All the toys have now gone and back to the world of the sensible people with sensible pastimes. Must say i am really beginning to look forward to Bunn Jnr appearing on the scene.
However i do think that without a project of some sort next year i may lose the plot
Thanks for all the help during the hard bits and i will be popping in every now and then to say Hi.

Well the new owner picked up the beastie today so i dare say he will pop in and say Hi as i recommended the site. He wants track day more than drag strip now so its perfect for him on here. The car went away with 641bhp at just 1.6 bar. Pretty much needs fuel system and another manifold to allow some more control over the boost as it is creeping . A single throttle body will also help control the animal that it has become. Another .8 of a bar possible This car will see 700hp / 500+ ft/lbs or thereabouts and i am sure the new owner will be overjoyed with it. I wish him all the very best. I think Scott (New owner) will use the car as it should be used and make some changes to it to suit him. For the time being it looks like Mr Hayward still has to look after it as they were already discussing options upon collection. I will be keeping on this site but the rest is history now. Right off to cry in my front room for an hour or so..................... Jay
