If you're going to mod it then - here's a good base cars

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2048216.htm - as it's newera I reckon it would be a top notch machine.

There is quite a weight difference between the GTR and GTS-T .. but it's mainly the engine and drive train ... I don't think 2wd will be as good as 4wd unless you intend to drift.

R32 GTR's are between 1505 and 1550kgs from memory
R32 GTsT's are about 1230-1250kgs

45kg weight difference between early and late GTR's (within the R32 model range) This was largely due to the door bars that cars from J's or K's onwards had.

You will lots of different figures online, but I've weighed R32 GTRs of all types on the weighbridge at Snetterton, so I would be very confident of them.

Best of luck. Wonderful cars in my opinion.

Thank you

I really like the look of this one, but I think that is probably a bit overpriced:

Lovely car but it needs brakes. Budget for around 2k for AP's or similar.

You said earlier that you would probably do most of the mods yourself, so why pay nearly 17k for one with the bits done?

Why not buy something like this

And spend 10k or a lot less tuning it

Have fun :)
