Thanks Tony.
@ Dave,
There was a single Mk1 mate, but it left before I could take a picture.
Easiest way round that problem is for you to bring yours next year ;) !!

good pics

I had a very frustrating day , I had no grip from the r888's at all , and because of the amount of spin I couldn't get it in 2nd gear, actually got the jump againt the dax couldn't find 2nd gear, then I wondered why I was going slower and at the end of the day found my throttle body rubber mount had split open..
best I managed was a 13.3 but had 119mph terminal best..

Good terminal speed though Scott. Indicates some decent power that mate. North Weald just seems to be one of those Teflon kind of surfaces; R888's always struggled for me on that surface (nothing to do with deliberately provoking oversteer with the throttle or handbrake)

I might have a go at the pod now -see if I can grip any better there
I tried a 2nd gear launch at the weald but it didn't like it as it does over 70 in 2nd!

I think if it was rear wheel drive I think it could be in the high 11's or low 12's...

What I need is a light weight rear wheel kit car with my engine lol
