another day at the office to day 
a good days work today managed to get more than i expected done with the car,
fitted the alternator and power steering belts plus front diff

on went the flywheel and clutch assembly

then fitted gearbox and gear stick

wheeled in place ready to drop car down

engine and gearbox bolted in plus rear propshaft

exhaust fitted and bolted to the turbo

95% of the engine all back together

wastegate put back on

before i left gordons i had a little play, i fitted a screemer pipe that out out just infront of the drivers door:drool5:


hope fully all going well car will be started in the morning

That screamer pipe looks like it will last about five minutes though; the heat will be incredible mate. Is that tough enough?

Alan has been doing a sterling job with the car over the past couple of weeks. In all the time that the car has been at Gordons I have only been over twice due to being laid up with a bad foot. Mind you in all honesty I'm sure that Alan prefers it that way, he prefers to work alone. Even when he has not been able to do anything on our car he has been doing jobs for Gordon to help him out.
That screamer pipe was something Alan decided and then just told me what he was doing. The actual sreamer pipe from the wastegate is a proper screamer pipe, stainless steel, Alan just wanted it sticking out the side of the car.
Fingers crossed for today.
