2000 X Subaru Impreza Sport Special

Post by Rob S »

Gents, (and Lady) A chap I know is selling his Sport Special edition Impreza due to bad luck and the wish to get a flat.
Bad news for him, good news for you!
The car has been looked after him for the recent past, and as a professional mechanic (I think he used the phrase vehicle technician, but I could nt spell that ;)) it's been done properly.
Long story short, a wheel bearing failed a couple of weeks back, which left the car stranded at the side of the road, and when he returned he a couple of hours later, the car was minus its rear spoiler and wing mirrors, and the front and rear bumpers were half off.
Yes some thieving twat had taken off (You know who you are, as do I) the bits described.
The car was recovered, and I then "helped" to get the bits back to the owner. (eBay can be nice sometimes)
Now the bits are back with the car, but the insurance company in the mean time have written the car off.
As it stands now, there are some scruffy bits about the bodywork, but it is in pretty good nick, and would take little to make it really look the business.
The interior is in good condition.
The car is one of two hundred Yellow Sport Special Impreza's, so that means a full Turbo interior (inc Momo wheel) and dials, turbo body kit, and this one benefits from a stainless exhaust and manifold, so it sounds brilliant.
The car has covered 115K, has been regularly serviced etc, but there is no history as it has been self maintained.
Due to the insurance write off, the car needs an MOT, then a VIC check, and it can go back on the road.

That looks bloody cheap mate :)
No room at the Inn and the wishing well is dry otherwise I would have had this in a heartbeat.

Good luck with the sale.
