Some great cars there. Tony; that 944 is superb. Cleaned to a standard now known as your own

Two cars i really regret selling
First up is this one

Built over 10 years and to a lot of my own spec. Sold to make way for Skyline improvements.
And this one Purely down to the fact i did not give it a chance to impress me and bought it just to sell it on. Now i wish i had played with it a bit more. The bodykit was a one off so even more gutting

I wish i had kept a lot of my toys over the years.
I have no pictures of the main one. Which is a real shame I built a V8 powered manta with a Mattig extreme wide arch kit. 10" wide rear wheels with lambo size tyres.
I wish i had just 1 pic of it as a memory jogger. It was wide as hell and totally insane for that era of modifying cars.

Well the skyline is gone for good But how cool is my little replacement!!!!! 7lbs 12oz of pure joy....
Ever heard the one "Baby forces sale" such is life......... it did teach me a few things and the main one being don't spend silly money on a track car.Ben wrote:Love the MG .. how could you sell it? ..
Maybe next year ill have a track car again however it wont be a old British one as they can be a money pit. On the other side of the coin thoe it was a great car to drive and i loved every second of it .

WOW, some seriously nice metal listed above, as I read through I kept wanting to quote in my reply but way too many.
I'm not sure I regret selling any of mine as there was always a reason, but this thread came just after i was looking through som pics last night and thinking hmm, wish I still had that.
Obviously the 300ZX track car going pop after 8 years and lots of time, effort and money was gutting but if i could have one car back now it would be this, and i only sold it a couple of years ago.
Bit of sleeper, standard 350z? but there's meaning in that dodgily spaced number plate...

she was packing an HKS (rotrax) supercharger, i/c etc, Nismo Manifolds and zorst blah blah, and went like stink.

With the tc switched off you only looked through the side windows. It was noisy, the clutch was heavy, the suspension (std) wasn't up to the job and I absolutely loved it, she was the complete opposite of my E46 M3 which she replaced and that was the whole idea when I did it all. While I admired the M3s admittedly outstanding abilities, it just never really got to me, i think it was just too competent, and that for me made it a little boring. This 350z really did and i wish i still had it now
