As already said, it was a great evening. Faultless car (more than can be said of the driver :D) no issues at all with the MKIII apart from the brakes getting a bit of fade at the end of each run. Thouroughly enjoyed myself. :D
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

I have to say that last night had to be one of my better trackdays ,good manners , only 1 stoppage i believe, the focus went well, had some good laps following people, superb:auto:

The only problem i now have is the last time i took a standard car out on 888 that handled reasonably well a project was born....................:driving:

I've just looked at the photo's and I'm now gutted I couldn't make it. It would have been great following the Aston round.

The porker is due a service so didn't want to run it last night plus I thought it may have been a wash-out. It chucked it down all evening in Bury!

Does anyone know if there's another track evening on the cards?

Sorry Fletch et all - had to be me didn't it! :headhack:

- apart from that a cracking evening and nice to see everyone again - hopefully the yellow 911 gave everyone a laugh - - looks like I had 2x minor issues - oil starvation and gear selection - should both be resolvable - I will see what I can do about reliability for the next event

What a great night on track had enormous fun and the car was up and running at full boost (thanks to Racedynamix) for getting the boost fueling and misfire issues sorted out.

Russ and I got through about a tank and a half but it was good to see that we had a BP Carbon Trade Off with the gaggle or is it Giggle of Golfs on track (not sure what the collective name for a number of golfs is but they seemed to be having fun the award for the best use of energy goes to Stewart who used minimum effort to wave us through by using only two fingers instead of a full hand. I nolonger have 30,000+ properties fo rmy carbon trade off so it will have to be via son and daughter heating in their homes

Best car award went to Mike Shearing and his V8 powered Dolly Sprint a real hoot through the twisties and should be compulsory passenger laps for anyone who has never been in a rear driver.

Best scalp goes to Russ for overtaking the Aston made a change from Golfs for him

Overall the standard of driving was pretty good only one red flag or did I miss one

And finaly after eating my salad I have to say that Mr. Fletchers car on trailer did look bloody good and well driven by Mrs. Fletcher.

Gutted to have missed this, looks like one of those classic BP snett track days. I thought I was close but the fact that the liner is reading 101db on tickover which I need to sort before getting on track turned out to be only 1 "good" reason why I no showed!!

Glad everyone had a good a night and the golfs certainly seemed to be doing the job. I WILL make the next one.

Great pics too matt - as said before those bridge ones are awesome!
